Good news for newspapers - for a change

Toronto Star publisher John Cruickshank writes:

In a world where everybody loves a Winner, we keep painting "Loser" on our own backs. But it's not the end of our business.

It's just the end of our business as usual. Newspapers are going through a major shakeout – just as they did when television demolished the old print news business model 50 years ago.
