Dayton Daily News restructures newsroom

The region’s largest local daily newspaper is once again restructuring its staff. The Dayton Daily News, owned by Cox Ohio Publishing, will be demoting 10 managers in the editorial department to staff/reporter positions.

Newspaper Spokeswoman Emily Chambers said the move was part of a continued restructuring in the editorial department at the paper. As part of the restructuring, 10 management positions will be eliminated and 10 staff positions will be added.
