We're back to work. And with your help, we'll be able to keep going

Our city is changing and our neighborhoods are facing changes from parking to density, from townhouses to cottages.

And yet in this important time, our community has fewer professional journalists working to help inform the public and scrutinize the issues. We, at SeattlePostGlobe.org, are trying to fill in the gaps that’s been left by the layoffs at the P-I and the Times.

We’re former Seattle P-I, Times and Weekly reporters trying to make up for the loss of yet one more news organization — the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. We’ve partnered with public broadcasting, and we are trying to apply its nonprofit model to online journalism. So far, we’ve been active for five months on a shoestring budget and a dream.
