Times execs. can expect a chill at Globe meeting

The New York Times [NYT] Co.’s top brass might want to wear suits of armor when they come to Boston next month to talk to Globe employees for the first time since demanding deep cuts from the broadsheet, the head of the paper’s biggest union said yesterday.

“People are certainly willing to hear what they have to say,” Boston Newspaper Guild President Dan Totten said, “but at the same time, the members are absolutely concerned and obviously disappointed in the tone and tenor of the New York Times’ actions.
