In the end, it’s the news that really matters

Corky Simpson writes:

News is like an old river, like the Mississippi. It keeps rolling along and goes where it wants to go. Its tide and drift are wearing away some cherished (though not very well protected) shoreline.

News hounds are an endangered species, but I think they will make a comeback because their commodity is essential.
