A.H. Belo Q2 loss deepens

Newspaper publisher A.H. Belo, parent of the Dallas Morning News, saw its second-quarter loss deepen as advertising revenue declined 30.2 percent.

Dallas-based A.H. Belo (NYSE: AHC) posted a net loss of $7.1 million, or 34 cents per share.

That is deeper than the company’s net loss of $3.197 million, or 16 cents per share, during the same quarter last year.
