Observer mailroom moving

Osprey Media is closing its mailroom at The (Pembroke) Daily Observer. In an effort to stay efficient in an ever changing competitive world, the mailroom operation will move within the company to its Ottawa facilities. The cuts will affect seven full-time and 23 part-time employees who have been given 60 days notice and many will be eligible for severance packages. The affected employees are also eligible to apply for jobs at other plants operated by Osprey and its parent company, Sun Media. There are no other planned staff changes at this time.
