Ethnic Press Hit By The Recession

NPR reports:

The economic recession is being felt by all industries, and the news business is no exception. Newspapers across the country are buckling to the bad economy, but many newspapers targeting minority readers are especially struggling. John Trainor of the Spanish-language newspaper, Hoy, Michael House of The Chicago Defender, which targets black readers, and media blogger Richard Prince discuss challenges faced by Ethnic media.
