Advertisers still bullish on print

"They have a very high audience reach potential in a very quick period of time," said Hugh Dow, chairman of Mediabrands Canada.

Mediabrands is a holding company for some of Canada's largest media buying organizations. "Newspapers provide very quick instant reach. It's a very credible environment, which is important. There are some pretty compelling reasons for the newspaper business."
