Shaping the future of news

Two words that matter to me. They are my buzz words. Hopefully, they will be yours, too.

Citizen journalism or reader reports - it is the next level of communication that news providers around the world have adopted because it is essential to growth.

Traditionally, editors and the newsroom have decided the 'who, what, when, where and why' of content that readers should consume.

As the world changed and news became a multimedia monster consuming all means of communicating and connecting to the end-user, news companies came face-to-face with the ground reality.

Readers pick up a newspaper, subscribe to a magazine or visit a website because they are interested most in what affects them at a personal level. And what better path to achieve that than through their own words and images?
