Arianna Huffington shamelessly cribs from mainstream media

Time's website (www.time.com) is carrying a feature story on Arianna Huffington, describing her as the "Web's new oracle."

Her site, The Huffington Post, is an entertaining destination that shamelessly cribs the work of reporters who file stories for newspapers and wire services, and packages them in a showy, tabloid-like way. The site has 55 paid employees, five of them actual reporters. So the lion's share of what appears there is the work of journalists paid by other news services, or the musings of unpaid bloggers. According to Time, a business newswire valued the site at more than $90 million.
