The value of the printed page

Without the resources of our world’s newspapers society would be unrecognizable. Print reporters consistently do the groundwork for all manner of grassroots organizations, political movements and even other forms of media. Just hang out beside a newspaper’s office and watch who is picking up early editions of the latest news. There are other organizations that work hard to do good journalism but even the best broadcasters will tell you how much they rely on the groundwork done by newspapers.
