Suicide By Newsprint

I have a haunting fear that the youth of today spend too much time watching television and, lacking that, get their news in a short radio burst. No wonder so many of them lack reading skills. The trick to being a news “junkie” is to find out all you can, to read everything you can find on a topic, and then try to understand it.

I love what Albert Einstein once said, something that went, “If we knew all there was, it wouldn’t be called research.” I feel the same way about the news and whether it is seemingly “slanted“ one way by CNN or another by Fox News, I am intensely interested in both views.
