The future of news is analyzed

Warren Larude is a Pulitzer Prize winning editor and for 28 years a Journalism professor at the University of Nevada, Reno. He thinks the world of print journalism will change dramatically, but its future is solid.

"I think journalism has the same great future is has always had...people have an extraordinary need and desire for information," Larude says. "Newspapers and the media in general did not see the internet coming. I think they were blindsided, and as a result millions of people have started transferring to little black boxes of information, blackberries and iphones.
